Wes asked:

When connecting a BluRay DVD player to an HDTV, which HDMI cable should I use? There are so many different kinds. Are the more expensive cables better?

No, they are all the same. For instance, Monster cables are horribly overpriced for no good reason. Just buy one that’s the proper length and inexpensive. You’ll be fine.

What ever you do don’t buy from retail stores, they chalk up the price 4-5x what they pay. I’d highly suggest buying one on ebay, and if you aren’t comfortable with ebay I’d say get one from The prices are much more fair the CC or BB and it includes free shipping.

A lower priced HDMI cable will work just as well as the higher priced ones. I used cables from this site and they’ve worked great so far.

The cheapest one that you can find that is HDMI certified
