I love my puppy ;) asked:

i have an HDTV, and I am thinking about buying a blu ray player, but i just don’t know. i don’t have surround sound.

jared c asked:

I have been contemplating on buying a blu ray player and I can’t decide whether to buy a normal blu ray player or a PS3, now I had a PS2 and the dvd player on there was absolultely terrible, and I’m wondering if the blu ray player on PS3 is as good as the stand alone players…

madsilver38 asked:

i saw some blu ray players demo at best buy and it looks too real, i can see the make up on people and it just looks fake, like i know they are on a set. does anyone think this? is it too much definition for movies own good?

Skittle asked:

I know the PS3 will update the system to play the latest blu ray movie without requiring a separate firmware download but I have a Samsung BD-UP5000 and it does not update. I am looking for another player but want to get one that will update automatically as the new discs require it.

Amy-zing Butterfly asked:

What is the difference? Eventually it will be all blu ray but can you play dvds in a blu ray player or only the blu ray movies? I though I had seen somewhere that had it for both or maybe it was a duel thing but no idea. I’m sure I am wrong.

From what I see blu rays are expensive and I don’t want to buy one if all the dvds I have will be useless.

avatar Lovin' Blu Rays, all day long. I am not actually in front of my screen all that much, butt... when I jones for some art or some comedy or some action or my other subscribed-to Verizon FIOS hi def feed, then Blu Ray is the higher defafriginition format for me. Thanks!
