But since there are already so many other stuff that already been used for at least 2 decade, it might get ignore just like the beta thing happen in the early eighties, it faded so fast because no one wanted to buy another new technological device which they already bought one similar to it before it and stuck with VHS and then DVD's came in slowly and took over the market. I do believe CD and DVD disks will no longer be used in the distant future probably not to far from now. Thanks to MPS Players and iPods, XM radio technology. Tapes, records, 8 tracks, beta tapes, and miniature tapes are already almost obsolete. I do not think Blue Ray disk will be personal choices, and will definitely be pushed aside just like Beta tapes in the near future. Jared

I worked at CompUSA for over a year and I had to be trained on Blue Ray stuff so I could advise customers about it if they asked. The PS3 is already implementing a Blue Ray reader, and Best Buy has a good selection of movies already. They can hold ungodly amounts of data, so forget buying Dual Layer DVDs ever again. I believe some of them can hold up to 50 gb of info... it's pretty creepy that so much can fit on that thing when current DVDs only really go to 4 or 8 or so... Just like when DVDs came out, the players were horrendously expensive, so are these. But Sony had a fantastic idea to go ahead and launch one in the PS3. It will slowly introduce people to the idea of BlueRay, and eventually the players will drop in price. I'm excited about it, but it ***** to be here so early in the game when they're so damn expensive. They'll put flash drives out of business, thats for sure. Donovan

They're expensive, and not worth the wait. But maybe they'll get big in the future. And the same time that happens, we'll all drive around in hovercars. Drew
